Privacy centre
A policy matched to the installed app
This is the canonical privacy policy for Motion Mosaic: Dannevirke on Android. It is effective 18 August 2026.
The Android app works without network access, accounts, submissions, advertising, analytics or external SDKs. The numbered sections below describe the exact local behaviour.
Scope, responsible entity and effective date
This Privacy Policy applies to the Android app Motion Mosaic: Dannevirke, published by DANNEVIRKE MULTISPORT COMPLEX INCORPORATED. It explains the app's local, offline design and the choices available to users. The policy is effective from 18 August 2026 and applies only to this app, not to another organisation, service, venue or website.
Intended audience and responsible-adult boundary
The app is a general community recreation companion for adults, families, supporters, volunteers and mixed-age groups. A child or young person should use activity ideas with a parent, guardian, teacher, coach, authorised volunteer or other responsible adult who understands the real setting. The app does not create a private communication channel between a child and an adult.
Purpose and principal functions
The app provides 45 bundled movement and shared-space prompts arranged in nine mosaics. It also offers a temporary Mix Tray, generic Space Switch suggestions, a Share Pattern, a Pause and Hand Off guide, an offline Source Library, About information and this Privacy Centre. It does not provide facility booking, registration, event scheduling, attendance, live maps, coaching certification or emergency response.
Information not collected or transmitted
The app does not ask for or collect a name, email address, phone number, age, date of birth, school, team, precise location, device identifier, advertising identifier, photograph, audio, contact list, payment detail, health information or free-text submission. It contains no network function and does not transmit personal or device data to the publisher or another party.
Temporary on-device Mix Tray state
A user may select up to three bundled activity panes for the Mix Tray. The app holds only the selected built-in pane identifiers in temporary app memory so it can display the current mix. The app does not attach those choices to a person, write them to a database, send them anywhere or use them for profiling. The temporary mix clears when the app process is ended and can also be cleared with the in-app reset control.
Sensitive, youth and free-text records
The app has no field for free-text notes and does not create youth profiles, participant rosters, attendance records, performance scores, injury records, incident reports, safeguarding reports or accessibility histories. Do not use the app as a place to record confidential or sensitive information. Concerns should be handed to the responsible adult or current venue and safeguarding process.
Permissions and offline operation
The app is designed to work fully offline. It does not request Internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, storage, Bluetooth, notification or other dangerous Android permissions. Its illustrations, policy and educational text are bundled inside the installed application.
Accounts and authentication
The app has no account, login, password, membership or authentication system. It therefore has no account data and no account-deletion process. Uninstalling the app removes the installed application and any operating-system-managed local app state.
Analytics, advertising, tracking and SDKs
The app contains no advertising, analytics, attribution, tracking, telemetry, remote configuration or social-media SDK. It does not build an interest profile, measure behaviour for marketing, personalise ads or perform cross-app or cross-site tracking.
Sharing, disclosure and sale
Because the app does not collect or receive personal data, it does not sell, rent, share or disclose personal data to advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers or other third parties. The app also provides no user-to-user sharing, public posting, chat, follower or direct-message feature.
External links, contact and network behaviour
The Android app does not open web pages, send email, upload files, export user content or make network requests. The Source Library displays reference names and web addresses as offline citation text so an adult can locate current primary guidance independently outside the app. Any browser, postal or other contact activity carried out separately is governed by the relevant service's own terms and privacy practices.
Retention and deletion
The publisher receives no app data to retain. Temporary Mix Tray identifiers remain only while the relevant app process state exists and can be erased with Reset tray, by closing the process or by uninstalling the app. There is no publisher-held app profile, submission or cloud record for the publisher to retrieve or delete.
Backup, restore and device transfer
Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for this app. The app does not intentionally copy Mix Tray state or other app state to cloud backup. Reinstalling on another device provides a fresh copy of the bundled content.
Security measures and limits
The privacy design reduces risk by avoiding accounts, data entry, network access, external SDKs and sensitive records. Bundled content and temporary state remain within the Android application sandbox under normal operating-system controls. No device or software can be guaranteed completely secure, so users should keep Android updated, use device access controls and avoid entering sensitive information into unrelated apps while using these prompts.
Children, Families and safeguarding
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It provides no private messaging, public youth profile, image upload, precise-location sharing, attendance, transport coordination or adult-child matching. Activities involving children should remain visible, supervised and consistent with the responsible organisation's current child-safeguarding, media, transport and reporting procedures. An app screen is not a safeguarding report channel.
Sport, injury, safety and professional-advice limits
The app offers general observation and participation prompts, not medical, first-aid, coaching, engineering, accessibility-assessment or legal advice. It cannot inspect equipment or a surface, diagnose injury, determine readiness, supervise a participant, clear a person to continue or replace current sport, venue or emergency procedures. Stop activity when something does not look right and hand the concern to the responsible adult, venue contact, qualified professional or emergency service as appropriate.
User choices and policy changes
Users may choose whether to open a pane, add a bundled pane to the temporary Mix Tray, reset the tray or stop using the app. A material change to app behaviour or privacy practice requires an updated policy and, where appropriate, an app update. The effective date at the top of the policy identifies the version presented here.
Privacy contact
Questions about this app's privacy design may be sent by post to: DANNEVIRKE MULTISPORT COMPLEX INCORPORATED, 38 Denmark Street, Dannevirke 4930, New Zealand.
